where is it located : 

Gurdwara Bangla Sahib is  the most important Gurdwaras of Delhi. It is instantly Famous by its gold-plated dome peak. It is located on Baba Kharag Singh Marg, New Delhi, near Gol Market, New Delhi.

इतिहास : 

यह गुरुद्वारा मूलतः एक बंगला था, जो जयपुर के महाराजा जयसिंह का था। सिखों के आठवें गुरु गुरु हर किशन सिंह यहां अपने दिल्ली प्रवास के दौरान रहे थे। उस समय चेचक (स्माल पॉक्स) और हैजा की बिमारियां फैली हुई थीं। गुरु महाराज ने उन बीमारियों के मरीजों को अपने आवास से जल और अन्य सुविधाएं उपलब्ध कराईं थीं। अब यह जल स्वास्थ्य वर्धक, आरोग्य वर्धक और पवित्र माना जाता है और विश्व भर के सिखों द्वारा ले जाया जाता है। यह गुरुद्वारा अब सिखों और हिन्दुओं के लिए एक पवित्र तीर्थ है।

History: 

This Gurudwara was originally a bungalow, which belonged to Maharaja Jai ​​Singh of Jaipur. Guru Har Kishan Singh, the eighth Guru of the Sikhs, stayed here during his stay in Delhi. At that time the diseases of smallpox and cholera were widespread. Guru Maharaj had provided water and other facilities to the patients of those diseases from his residence. Now this water is considered to be healthy, healing and holy and is carried by Sikhs around the world. This Gurudwara is now a holy pilgrimage for Sikhs and Hindus.
